Your Kingdom Come, Part VII

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Matthew 6:13

As we have seen by the previous messages, the Lord's prayer is not just a repetitious oath to be recited by rote, but an entrance into the glorious presence of the Most High's throne. The kingdom of God and all its glory is available to all, who by faith enter in to receive the heavenly benefits.

We as believers have access to a kingdom of power and glory come to earth for all the world to see through the obedience and actions of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ! We have all authority over the powers of darkness, the ability to heal the sick and raise the dead, and we can call into existence that which does not exist. All things have been given to those who believe and act in faith, and if we would just accept it, the world would be shaken to its core by the saints of the kingdom.

Sadly, most never walk in their God-given power and authority, being deceived into thinking that they are just poor sinners saved by grace as they trudge off to another Sunday morning funeral service held for a Savior, long dead, who is somewhere in the sweet by and by! Everything is either in the past or in the future for the modern day church who doesn't have a clue who they are or know who they belong to. I don't know about you, but I am not going to sit in some mausoleum waiting for the trumpet to blow, I am going to sow in faith until the Father says, "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord!"

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. II Peter 1:2-4
