TWELVE STONES

Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. Jude 3

Jude, brother of James the Younger penned the epistle of Jude warning us to contend for our faith and to be aware of men who pervert the gospel. This is true for us today for thousands of false prophets, teachers, preachers and even many pastors have watered down and tried to sugarcoat the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

We are living in very dangerous times in these last days with catastrophic events, super storms and disasters of all kinds wreaking havoc on a global scale. Millions of people are dying without hearing the true gospel message, many of whom attended church and did religious works but as Jude says, they denied the faith!

We as believers need to contend for the faith that is in us and defend the gospel of Christ as the disciples did, all but one, even to their death! Jude preached the gospel message, healed the sick and died, being shot through with arrows, a martyr for the Lord Jesus!

But you beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but on others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating the garment defiled by the flesh. Jude 20-23

Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
