The Parable of the Sower Part III

"The kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; "but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. "But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared." Matthew 13:24-26

The parable of the sower is the revelation of the conception and subsequent birth of the born again new creation. Just as in the natural realm, conception can only come forth by the sowing of the seed of a male into the fruitful womb of a female. Without the seed there can be no birth, and sometimes even after the seed has been sown and the birth process has begun the developing being can either be aborted or dies of natural causes before birth. So it is with the spiritual being, according to the parable all the components must be present in order to produce a spiritual being.

Jesus is making it perfectly clear when He explains the parable that one must be born of the Spirit in order to become a Christ follower! In this message we will see the distinction of those who have been born again and those who have not. The sons of the kingdom are disciples of Christ and the tares are sons of the devil! It is very simple once you see the dynamics of the gospel and how the heart of man is the key to eternal life. Even when a natural earthly garden is planted the fruitful plants are evident because they are all of one variety according to the type of plant that is to be grown, but the thorns and weeds are also evident even though you know that you didn't plant them, they just appeared.

A born again Christian has the Spirit of the living God residing within his very soul and is evident to all who come in contact with him because there is life coming out of him. On the other hand, the tare or unbeliever has no life in himself; he might have joined up, or attended services, or even been involved in ministry, but there is no spiritual life within him. Like an artificial leg, it looks like a leg, it's attached to the human body and it even provides mobility, but it has no life within it, because it's artificial.

"Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" Matthew 7:22,23

"He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. "The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. "The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels." Matthew 13:37-39

Jesus was speaking to a nation of farmers that knew perfectly well what He was talking about in regards to sowing and reaping. The gospel of Matthew explains the parable and reveals that the ultimate sower is the Lord Jesus who is the Word. Luke describes the seed as being the word of the living God. So in actuality Jesus is sowing Himself into humanity that in turn produces an exact replica of Himself in us!

The mystery of the kingdom of God is the revealing of spiritual sons conceived and birthed by the sowing of supernatural seed into their hearts thus producing a crop of supernatural plants that resemble the Savior. Sounds like a science fiction movie but in reality it is the power of God to replicate Himself in the human race, those who would surrender their lives and repent of their sins and receive the blood to cleanse them of unrighteousness! God's plan from day one was to create a divine race of supernatural worshipers that would in turn plant the kingdom of God in the earth!

The reality of God's kingdom is to fill the earth with His presence, His people, His temple of living stones and to create a bride, a supernatural woman who will give birth to divine children carrying the DNA of their Father. At the same time His body is the supernatural bridegroom that supplies seed to the woman that will in turn produce the family of God in the earth. Is your mind blown yet? Well hang on, there is more, much more!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 1:1-4

"Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. "The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend and those who practice lawlessness, "and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 13:40-42

The end of the age is much closer than we think as the world spins out of control with the effects of the sins of our unfaithful ancestors barreling down upon us from the past. The harvest is white but as the Lord had said, "the laborers are few!" In these last days the Bible prophesies that difficult times will come and so they have in the form of natural and even supernatural events that have left millions devastated by terror, storms, earthquakes, violence and lawlessness of all kinds!

There will be a great separation of the righteous, those who have eyes to see and the unrighteous, those who don't see or hear at all! The division of the Sons of God and the tares, or sons of the devil will increase until the great distinction will become evident to all, as the Sons of God are revealed because of the life within them that shines out like the brightness of the sun! The tares on the other hand will continue to "Do church, good deeds, promote their agendas and look like something they are not: the true seeds of the Son of the living God! Self help gurus, charlatans, wolves and false prophets will continue to deceive and send millions to Hell while the harvest quietly proceeds as it always has, without fanfare or man-made promotion, just the sowing of the seed of Heaven into the good soil of a heart after God.

So with that said, where are you in the scheme of things concerning your eternal destination? Son or daughter of God, washed in the blood of Jesus and about your Father's business, or a member in good standing of the great deception, the church of the devil? How can one tell if they have been deceived and lulled to sleep on the devils lap? First of all in all likeliness you won't because as a good friend once said, "Deceived folks don't know they are deceived!" If you have doubts, then cry out to God for mercy and repent of following after the beast of man-made religion and surrender your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ! The decision you make to either follow Jesus with all of your heart, or follow after the world and man's commercialized system of religion will determine where you spend eternity! The choice is yours!

"Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" Matthew 13:43
