THE NAMES OF GOD
In the beginning God (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
Elohim, God, Judge, and Creator is used over 2000 times in the Bible. Elohim is used in the very first scripture describing the beginning of the universe, proving that it all began by "Divine Design" and not some accidental "Big Bang!"
God is the Creator of all things, the entire universe and everything in it, including every creature, cell and organism on land and in the sea. Imagine that our God, Elohim, created mankind and knows how many hairs are upon each one of our heads, and how many grains of sand there are in the ocean.
To believe we somehow appeared on the planet and crawled out of some primordial soup is idiocy, especially when you look at the complexity of our human body, not to mention all the other species, plants and insects on the planet. Our God has a never ending ability to create diversity from His vast wisdom and knowledge, unable to be calculated by the human mind.
"God who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. "Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things." Acts 17:24,25
