If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on the things on the earth. Colossians 3:1,2
In order to have the mind of Christ, as I said before, one must be born again and transformed from the earthy, natural, human realm into the spiritual kingdom of God. We are citizens of a heavenly realm and not tied to the fleshly world of human beings, although most believers never understand who they are or to whom they belong.
Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom, the total supernatural transformation of those who would repent of their sins and become born again citizens of His kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. The problem is we become born again but never live like Jesus nor walk as the true ambassadors that we have been set apart to be, but instead we trudge along with the rest of the world as orphaned beggars never receiving the reality of His kingdom that dwells in our heart.
We as believers need to repent, (change our mind and direction) and receive that which has been inherited from the Father as citizens of a heavenly kingdom, brought to earth by the Lord Jesus Christ, the Firstborn of all who were to follow as new creations in Him. Are you living as a worldly orphaned beggar or are you a born again blood washed, Spirit filled saint of the Most High? The choice is yours!
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe. Ephesians 1:17-19
