The Master's Plan, Part X

And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Colossians 1:17,18

The modern day church reminds me of the "Headless Horseman" in the story of "Sleepy Hollow." They are riding to and fro making boastful claims of spiritual authority but they forget who their Head is. The body of Christ cannot be led by man and that is why she wanders through the earth without the anointing and presence of Him who is the Supreme authority.

Jesus is Lord! They cry, but then they do whatever they feel like without even considering what He wants to do or what He knows is best for them. It is like the boy trying to gain entrance into the kingdom of Heaven, telling Saint Peter that he has a bumper sticker on his car that says, "Jesus is Lord!" Peter told Him, "OK, your car can come in!" Sounds ridiculous but it is true in the lives of most believers, Jesus is not their Lord, they are! There is a church on every corner but do you think they would ever let Jesus control it, or better yet, lead it by the presence of His Holy Spirit?

The entire planet is out of order in that Satan has managed to upset the rightful divine order for man that was set before time began. Man is the head of woman, woman is the head of children, Christ is the head of man and God is the Head of Christ. The reason this is so important is the fact that the angels who protect us recognize and act only when there is a divine order of spiritual authority. Satan has upset the cart by elevating the woman above the man, allowing the children to be out of order and then by even introducing gays and transgenders into the mix the outcome is total disorder!

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man is not from woman, but woman is from man. Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. I Corinthians 11:7-10
