The Master's Plan, Part II

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Colossians 1:9

God has chosen us to fulfill His purpose on the earth and has disclosed to us the knowledge of His will in order for us to fulfill our destiny. When Jesus appointed His apostles (ones sent) He deposited within them the divine blue print of God's Master Plan to establish a heavenly kingdom here on earth.

Upon His death, burial and resurrection they immediately began to build the next temple of God in the earth, a temple of living stones held together by the love and unity of the Spirit and they flourished in the city of Jerusalem. The church of the Lord Jesus Christ was on the "Way" to becoming the most powerful entity in the world, filled with the Holy Spirit, a supernatural body of believers, making disciples, equipping them to go and do the same and multiplying at an astonishing rate!

The plan was being implemented and the will of God was being fulfilled and all without leadership or deacons or any denomination to hinder its progress, only apostles sharing what Jesus had imparted to them, that is, until Satan devised a plan to stop its forward motion. The church of God was free to roam, free to evangelize and disciple multitudes with little or no training, led by Holy Spirit's voice and they were a force to be reckoned with. The church spread like wildfire until Satan finally contained it back into a stagnant pool of good intentions in a church building with pastor and pew, defeating the divine plan by resurrecting the "old priesthood!" Like a watchman's hut in a cucumber field, the church sits in its lonely little corner of the world, isolated from their brothers and sisters, trying to promote its futile agenda, completely missing the divine plan of God!

Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen of God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I Peter 2:4,5
