The Gospel Of Jesus Christ, Part V

But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the law and the prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:21-23

Mankind is born in sin, inherited from their first forefather, Adam, making salvation by faith in Christ the only avenue of escape from the eternal damnation of the unrepentant. No one can come before the Most High on his own merit or good works because grace is the only door available for those who would come to the Lord to be saved from their sins.

In order for one to approach the throne of God's forgiveness, he must first believe that He is in fact God. Once this is established he can receive forgiveness and be washed from his sins by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as he confesses and repents of his transgressions! Only by the precious blood shed on the cross can one be cleansed of all unrighteousness and come before God in right standing, purified, and justified by faith in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord.

To be justified is to receive a pardon for all of our sins, transgressions and trespasses that we have committed against God. Justification by grace through faith saves us from the wrath of God and transforms us into new creations in Christ, washed, forgiven, pardoned, freed and released from the bondage of sin that held us in debt to God.

Being justified freely (without cost) by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation (to regain favor) by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:24-26
