And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

The Glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is good news for the sinner because He came to wash away our sins, transgressions and curses with His own blood. From the time of the creation of man and the sin committed by Adam, the curse has traveled down the bloodline of all mankind, making all men sinners.

Jesus Christ, Son of the Most High came to earth as our Savior to set man free from his sins by the shedding of His own precious blood. Because of God's great love for mankind not wanting any to perish in damnation, He provided the perfect sacrifice for sin, His own Son's blood. From the time of His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane to the nailing of His body to the cross, Jesus bled in seven specific places to give us a perfect and complete deliverance from sin and its generational curse.

And so as we began in a garden and ate of the tree, and we are set free from its curse by a prayer in a garden and the freedom that came by the punishment on a tree! The sin of the first Adam was washed away by the obedience and sacrifice of the last Adam, who took it upon Himself to die for us to whom the punishment was due.

And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being." The last Adam (Jesus) became a life giving Spirit. I Corinthians 15:45

Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. Hebrews 9:15

People in the West don't use the term covenant anymore, being replaced by what we understand a contract to be between two parties. Earthly contracts are as good as the lawyer who defends them and the paper they are written on, many of which are broken for one reason or another.

Our covenant with Christ is written in His blood and cannot be broken because we have become blood brothers and sisters with Him! The American Indians understood the meaning of a blood covenant, the exchanging of blood meant a bond of unity until death. Mankind was created for God's good pleasure, meant for good works, free from the ills and curses of sin, that is, until Adam disobeyed God and ate of the tree he was commanded not to eat!

Sin entered creation through one act of disobedience, but God made a way of escape by the sprinkling of blood over the First Family, although the consequences of Adam's actions caused the death of all mankind. For the wages of sin is death!

"This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord; I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them." then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more." Hebrews 10:16,17

Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us through the veil, that is His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-21

In the Old Testament the high priest was responsible to come before God in the holy of hollies to sprinkle the blood of the sacrifice on the mercy seat seven times, a type and shadow of our High Priest, Jesus, who bled in seven specific places for us.

Jesus is our High Priest who died once for the sins of man, He is the only way to God and there is entrance to the kingdom of God through no other. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, our Savior, Lord and Master and every knee shall bow before Him in the great day of judgment as He will be high and lifted up before all peoples and nations.

There are many religions, cults and sects claiming that their god or gods are the way to eternal life, but don't be deceived, there is only one Deliverer who has paid the price of redemption for us all to live eternally with Him. Jesus warned us that there would be many false prophets and that even the elect would be drawn away after them. Stand strong and don't grow weary He is coming back for His bride adorned with good works, waiting patiently for His glorious return!

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the most holy place every year with blood of another, He then would have to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Hebrews 9:24-26
