For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 6:8
As the writer of Hebrews states, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In other words faith is a tangible substance, a real material and with it we believe that what Jesus did for us on the cross can be appropriated into our lives by faith.
The blood of Jesus, also a tangible substance, although not seen has the divine capability to supernaturally cleanse our consciences from sin and iniquity also by faith. By faith God framed the world and the entire universe and it is one of the most powerful substances in all of creation. Without faith we would not exist, we would not be spared from eternal damnation, neither could we receive anything from God for it is impossible to please Him without faith!
By faith we are saved, by faith we are pardoned of all sin and iniquity, by faith we inherit the promises of God and become direct descendants of the Lord Jesus Christ. Blood washed saints and members of the household of God, the divine bloodline!
Therefore having been justified (pardoned) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1,2
