And you He made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience. Ephesians 2:1,2
Everyone is born with the stain of Adam's sin surging through their bloodline like a deadly plague, killing millions and destroying lives, the curse rages on until it is stopped only by one's choice to repent and be washed in the blood of Jesus. God created a paradise for man to live in and to cultivate and to be fruitful and multiply spiritual children to populate the earth. Satan, expelled from Heaven and filled with evil ruined the plan by tempting God's first children to eat of that which they were told not to eat!
Dead in sin and trespasses passed down through the eons of time caused us to be "born to lose" like the tattoo of many an inmate incarcerated for their crimes, but there was a divine plan for man to be "born again to win" with the birth of the Last Adam, Jesus Christ, the sacrifice and Savior of the world come to set the captives free! Suddenly in the still of the night in a lowly stable a Monarch to rule the nations silently entered the realm of earth's presence, a spotless Lamb born to die in our stead, arrived unnoticed by the world but was beheld by the angelic host, a King of all kings to save us from our sins!
Sons of disobedience filled with demons following the world in it's pursuit of evil and wickedness on a broad road that leads to a fiery end in the darkened pits of Hell with no one to care or save them from their sins but One, The Lord Jesus Christ who loved us and cared enough to leave Heaven's splendor and descend into earth's squalor and made us alive as He washed us and clothed us in all the finery of a royal Host and made us to be raised up into heavenly places to rule and reign with Him on earth as it is in Heaven!
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loves us, even when we were dead in trespasses, He made us alive together with Christ and raised us up together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
