The Divine Blood Line, Part IV

And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:22

God has given all power and authority to the Lord Jesus Christ, Head of His assembly of blood washed saints, and has bestowed upon us the same spiritual authority to rule and reign over our enemies as He has been given. The church of God is the most powerful entity in the universe, bar none, a formidable force to be reckoned with against whom the powers of darkness war.

Sadly, we have forgotten who we are and to whom we belong in that we have given the keys to the kingdom to the devil, not realizing our own strength and the fact that God put him under our feet! The world is being destroyed before our very eyes with terror on every side, sickness and disease rampant around the globe, violence and crime out of control, and the deadliest virus on the planet at our front door! What would Jesus do is a vast understatement, because Jesus would be doing what the Father called Him and us to do in these trying times by healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead and preaching the un-compromized gospel of the kingdom that is able to transform the lost into new creations in Christ.

Kind of makes showing up for an hour to hear a few songs, a mushy little sermonette and shake the preachers hand only to leave in the same condition you were when you came, a waste of valuable time in comparison to all that God has equipped us to do in these last days. Saved, delivered from the dominion of sin and death, filled with God's Holy Spirit and called to do the greater works of the kingdom and yet, we sit, like a watchman's hut in a cucumber field, a benign, apathetic lump of clay, totally unaware of our gifts and purpose to take up our God-given authority and power in Christ! Now, honestly, are you fulfilling your God given divine destiny and purpose, or are you only concerned with the things of this world?

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19

Your servant in Christ, Tim Laughlin
