And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11,12

This is God's pre-ordained order for His church and the divine purpose for their gifting, to equip the body for the work of ministry! Church is not a place to go, it is a Person to be, the person and expression of the Lord Jesus Christ in the earth.

Jesus didn't choose twelve pastors, He chose twelve apostles, literally ones sent, the architects of the church who carry the divine blueprint. If He had chosen pastors His glorious church would still be stuck in Jerusalem as many churches are today with men who become demagogs to their congregations and the whole structure turns into a pyramid!

Take a hard look at many of today's mega-churches with thousands of spectators oohing and aahing over these men who are filled with lust and selfish ambition set to fall from their pedestals of pride and greed! Pastor is only mentioned a couple of times in NT scripture and there needs to be multiple pastors, but they are not the leaders of the church, apostles are! This shepherd/sheep model was done away with at the cross, and Jesus became the Chief Shepherd. Satan drug up the old model to deceive and prevent the true church from its destiny!

Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:13

That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting. Ephesians 4:14

Although I have faith and hope in the true church of Jesus Christ I don't think what we have now can be changed, it will have to be a totally new creation founded and grounded by apostles. The old mold needs to be broken and a new and vibrant assembly of converts will be trained and equipped for service in the body of the Lord Jesus Christ!

New Creations in Christ with a heavenly mindset, free from the traditions and doctrines of men and demons and trained for service in His kingdom! We have all grown up under the present model of the church and it has been replicated over and over for centuries and like most we believed this was God's plan and don't get me wrong, although the structure was wrong, God blessed many with a harvest of souls and there were many Godly pastors who laid down there lives for the kingdom.

I was a pastor for years with several churches and for our own residential ministry and it was out of necessity I had to walk in that gifting until God showed me a more excellent way! My pastor, friend and mentor, David invited me to a meeting held by a group of South American pastors called the G-12. The main speaker was a pastor for years and he was perplexed that his congregations would never exceed 150 or so and he cried out to God for an answer and the Lord showed him His divine government of twelve, thus the G-12 movement began!

But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ. Ephesians 4:15

Up until I reluctantly went to this G-12 seminar, I was firmly settled with the structure of the modern day church, never questioning its design or function. After I listened to the main speaker and founder of the G-12 movement they laid hands on everyone to receive the vision of the government of God.

Before I could resist, they laid hands on me and the meeting was over. It wasn't long after the meeting before God began to show me the design of His glorious New Testament church and the government of twelve! My eyes were opened and the number twelve permeated by soul and I couldn't get it out of my mind! Jesus showed me His foundational stones, the twelve apostles who would bring to fruition His Divine design!

Jesus chose twelve apostles who multiplied into 120, then the 120 multiplied into 3000 and then the 3000 multiplied into 5000 and so on and so on up until man defiled it! This move of God in South America proved successful with thousands and thousands coming to the Lord multiplying into the millions, but when it landed in America it slowed down because people refused to lay down their lives to make disciples.

From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:16

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:46,47

Just think, no building, they met at a porch, no Bibles, (most were illiterate) no pews or pulpit, no choir or Sunday school and no pastor! How in the world could they be a church? Simple, God was with them and His Spirit was in them!

This is the divine design of the assembly of God, in essence, to be a vineyard, in other words, nothing to restrain their growth and just as a vine will grow as far as it can if it is not restrained, so will the church! Today we plant churches in buildings and they become a potted plant with no room to grow, no growth and no fruit!

Today most of our New Testament evangelical charismatic bapti-costals have no clue what the true church of Jesus Christ looks like! Discipleship is Sunday school, the gospel is a sugary donut and coffee compared to the gut wrenching conviction brought about by the true gospel of Jesus Christ! No blood, no sacrifice, no conviction, no godly sorrow, no repentance and no salvation!

“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:36-38

Many of those who heard the word believed and the number of men came to be about five thousand. Acts 4:4
Because Jesus was planted, the divine seed sprouted and the vine grew into a multitude of new born again souls! This is not just a revival, it is the destiny of God's church to grow exponentially without restraint!

This is true discipleship, preach the gospel, baptize in water, baptism in the Holy Spirit, train, equip and send! BAM! You have a brand new on fire disciple, free from the traditions and doctrines of men and demons, filled with God's Spirit and obeying the commands of Christ, to GO! The message these disciples were receiving was what it was like to walk with Jesus, pure and simple, spoken from those who not only talked the talk, but walked the walk with the Son of the living God!

This is why we don't see this kind of growth today, because no one will train and equip them to go and make more disciples, teaching others what they were taught and replicating the process in others! When someone is saved we fill him with rules and regulations and the do's and don'ts of Christianity and produce a dead and lifeless church member!

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:19,20

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:15-18

Making disciples of all nations is likened to a military operation with every believer signed on to do the work, to evangelize, equip, train and then send! Today however we are taught to show up, support pastor and his vision, write a check, go home, come back next Sunday and don't ever rock the boat!

The church of Jesus Christ doesn't even exist anymore, replaced by a retirement community of fat, lazy, complacent members of an elite country club! Many of whom are lost because the gospel has been sugar coated, watered down and perverted so that everyone can come in! This is a travesty propagated by the traditions of men, denominational teaching and a leadership ignorant of the word of the living God!

As I was writing this message the devil was condemning me saying I am being to tough on the church and looking for a scripture to complete the message God gave me the following! Praise be to God we must rise up and conquer the powers of darkness and complete the work that we have been given and fulfill the Divine Destiny in Christ Jesus!

I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you. For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Therefore I urge you, imitate me. For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church. I Corinthians 4:14-17

The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen. Acts 1:1,2

Just as Elijah built an altar with twelve stones and called down the fire of God, so Jesus built His altar with twelve living stones and the government of God was complete, ready to contain the Holy Fire of the Most High!

Jesus commanded His apostles to remain in Jerusalem and wait for the "Promise of the Father" and so they and the one hundred twenty disciples of Christ waited patiently for the "Baptism in the Holy Spirit!" Unbeknownst to them this was the future of the most powerful entity ever assembled in the history of mankind, about to change the entire known world!

The kingdom of Heaven had truly come to earth and with it the supernatural power of God about to be distributed to the first assembly of God together in one accord, waiting patiently for the Promise! Do you not see the difference in this powerful on fire assembly compared to the lukewarm complacent anemic (blood deficient) church we have today?

"For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Acts 1:5

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth," Acts 1:8

Jesus told His disciples that they would be witnesses, not that they should go and witness, something perverted by the traditions of man. A witness is someone who has seen something and then testifies of what he has seen! It is not a person who hands out tracks and tries to convince someone to pray the sinner's prayer, it is a witness of the supernatural power of God to transform a life!

Can you imagine the testimonies coming out of this assembly who were to be baptized in the Holy Presence of God and then witnessed their brothers and sisters all filled and speaking in tongues to thousands attending Pentecost? What a magnificent sight to behold seeing the most powerful entity in the creation poured out on ordinary folks who would send this testimony around the world and would transform mankind!

If we could only grasp the "Divine Design" given by the Father and restore His government and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit in the modern day church, I believe the fire would return and and this once powerful expression of Christ would again appear and transform this fallen world!

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Revelation 12:11

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Acts 2:1,2

The fire fell on the altar of God and ignited a firestorm that has lasted for eons! There is a remnant of the people of God today who are filled with His Spirit and have carried out His commands to make disciples and reap a harvest in the earth!

Upon their baptism of the very fire of God they spoke with other tongues to those who were attending Pentecost and they were hearing them speak in their own language and Peter stood up and preached the gospel to them and 3000 were saved! 3000 visitors to Jerusalem got saved and then called for their families to come and move in with the 120! What a spectacle of the grace and mercy of God!

Can you imagine your church receiving 3000 new, on fire converts with no place to live and pretty soon their families would be showing up? How would this new fledgling church take care of this enormous harvest of souls? The answer is, they would all live in common!

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. Acts 2:44,45
