I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ for a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to distort (pervert) the gospel of Christ. Galatians 1:6,7
In order to live a supernatural life in the Spirit one has to be born again by the supernatural gospel of the kingdom of God! The gospel of the kingdom is the only gospel by which men can be saved. There is only one true gospel, although many have tried to water it down, pervert and distort it so that anyone can come in. The apostle Paul's warning for the Galatian church still resonates today in our modern self centered religious world.
Nitro-glycerin is a powerful explosive, but when you water it down and take out one or more of its components, it loses it power, so it is with the gospel of the kingdom, when you take away or add to it, it simply doesn't work. For instance, take out repentance, sin, the cross and the blood of Jesus and what do you have? You have easy believism, pray a prayer and "Poof" your a born again member of the family of the First Bapticostal Temple of Doom! Gospel means good news, not to be confused with easy way in as many would have you believe, but is the very power of God contained in the horrible, excruciating death of His Son Jesus, His burial and His subsequent resurrection that allows sinners to be able to repent of their sinful life, receive His blood by faith and become transformed by the Holy Spirit's power!
There are literally millions today who have never truly been born again because their conscience was never touched and they were not convicted of their sins. In order for one to be saved he has to come to the knowledge that he is lost and doomed to eternal death and damnation. There are generations of people who fill pews every Sunday who have never met the Lord Jesus Christ, nor have they given their heart to Him in obedience by surrendering to the leading of His Spirit!
But even we, or an angel from Heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you let him be accursed. As we have said before, now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8,9
