Supernatural Living, Part III

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, (born from above) he cannot see the Kingdom of God. John 3:3

The new birth requires one to be transformed by a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit just as Jesus was born again through the aid of a virgin and the Spirit's power, allowing Him to be born a man with a divine nature. Spiritual birth comes about when a person is convicted of sin or becomes desperate in regards to the condition of his soul.

No one can be saved just because he wakes up one day and decides he will become a believer, praying a prayer won't save you because every religion prays, nor can attending church save you, only by a spiritual transformation can one experience being birthed in the Spirit. There are several key components involved in the redemption of a person, one being the conviction of being a sinner, second, confession which leads to repentance and three, being baptized into the death of the Lord Jesus Christ, not the washing of ones body but by dying to the world and all of it's lusts.

The gospel of the Kingdom is the power for one to experience new birth by the submitting of his will to God and surrendering to the leading of the Holy Spirit by which he becomes a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ! There are many who claim to be Christian but they deny the power of God and have never been transformed, becoming religious, they act out their seemingly spiritual life by performing ritualistic duties by attending services and taking communion and yet never come to the knowledge of the truth.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith." For the wrath (anger) of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. Romans 1:16-18
