Standing On The Promises Of God, Part X

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With a long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation. Psalm 91:15,16

Once we have come under the shadow of God's protective shade He becomes our shield to deflect the schemes and attacks of our enemies. God becomes our healer taking our diseases to the cross of His Son where all sickness, disease and infirmity was healed and the devil was defeated forever!

Through the many storms of life we have a heavenly Father to walk with us, even through the shadow of death that surrounds us like thick clouds of doom. He delivers us from all of our sorrows and woes hovering over us as a mother hen tending her chicks. God allows us honor as His disciples, entrusted with supernatural gifts and divinely powerful weapons of spiritual warfare to defeat the powers of darkness and break the yoke of sin and bondage to set the captives free.

The promises of God are many and His love for us is unfathomable in that He has even offered up His own Son to be sacrificed in our stead, that we might inherit eternal life and rule and reign throughout eternity with Him as His saints in the light. Are you dwelling and abiding in His presence, reaping the benefits of a loving God or are you standing outside in the storms of life as a beggar, or as an orphan living in the world of uncertainty filled with fear, doubt and unbelief? If you don't know Him, today can be the day of your salvation by confessing your sins and making Him Lord of your life!

"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:1-3
