Standing On The Promises Of God, Part VI
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. Psalm 91:10
If God is for us who can be against us as the scripture states, because we are His children, protected and cared for by the Most High. Think about how much you care for your children, you always want the best for them and certainly don't want them sick or molested by evil in any way and then consider God's love for us and how much more He cares for us!
The promises of God are for those who have truly made Him their source, their dwelling place and their refuge, not just a convenient help when all else fails, claiming a refrigerator verse and crying out for mercy when you haven't even thought about Him in months. The promises of God are for family, sold out, born again, blood washed believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, not for part-time followers and those who have drifted away from under the shadow of His wings!
Their are many plagues and various sicknesses and diseases wreaking havoc in today's society, even strange and demonic maladies and mysterious illnesses that in many cases are unknown to medical science and incurable. Evil is everywhere and spreading it's tentacles throughout the world as we approach the coming of the Lord Jesus. If you are not living and abiding under the protective covering of the Most High, I suggest that you run for cover and cry out for His divine protection.
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. Isaiah 54:17
