And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:27,28

As millions celebrate Easter, most never realize the significance of what really happened on what believers call, "Resurrection Day!" Jesus Christ, Lamb of God was sacrificed on a cross for the sins of all mankind and His blood became the "New Covenant" for all who would repent and receive forgiveness of their sins!

Christianity is not all it is cracked up to be in that it is supposed to possess eternal life for its members. Sadly, the devil has deceived many and divided up what is supposed to be the Body of Christ! To a lost world the Christian faith looks to be one large family with millions of members, but in fact there are only a few true disciples who are washed in the blood of the Lamb of God!

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the "Good News" for the lost to find their way into the Kingdom of God by repenting of their sins and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ! To make Jesus Christ Lord, Master and Controller of your life and having your sins washed away by His precious blood through repentance will insure your entrance into the eternal kingdom of God!

Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible (perishable) things, like silver and gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot or blemish. I Peter 1:18,19

John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!" John 1:29

In the Old Testament under the law of Moses and the rituals and practices of the nation of Israel, the High Priest would take a lamb without spot or blemish, sacrifice it and would then enter the Holy of Holies and sprinkle the blood seven times on the mercy seat to atone for the people's sins!

This is a type and shadow of the Lamb of God who would come later in the future to be sacrificed on the cross for the sins of all mankind! From His Passover meal with His disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus would walk on His fateful journey to the cross! THE VIA DOLOROSA as it is called or The Stations of the Cross illustrates His walk to His own execution. Via Dolorosa means the “Way of suffering” or “Sorrowful way”. Via Dolorosa is a term used to describe the ceremonial route of Jesus in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Jesus suffered on the way to the cross and bled in seven specific places to set mankind free from sickness, disease and sin! His substitutionary death, meaning He suffered the punishment that was due to us set us free from our iniquities and sins making a way for us to inherit eternal life!

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:11,12

The old covenant was fulfilled in Christ and a New Covenant was inaugurated with the blood of Christ! Covenant means, a binding contract likened to being blood brothers with someone. In our case we are blood brothers with Christ!

When Jesus suffered and died and rose again the old priesthood was done away with and a new and living way was introduced. Jesus became our High Priest and we became His royal priesthood, a holy people no longer under law but grace. Jesus fulfilled the law and the temple was destroyed, the priesthood was done away with and the powers of darkness were disarmed.

The veil of separation in the temple was torn from top to bottom by the angels as Jesus drew His last breath, signifying man's ability to come before the throne of the Most High through the blood of Christ! Are you washed in the Savior's blood, are your sins forgiven and have you surrendered your life and heart to the Lord Jesus Christ? If not, Easter will just be another dead religious ritual and you will continue on your final journey to eternal damnation with the devil and his angels!
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new covenant, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, they which are called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. Hebrews 9:13-15

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" Matthew 24:3

Jesus proceeded to tell them what the signs of His coming would be, the first would be deception! He said that many would come in His name saying that He was indeed the Christ and would deceive many. In other words they would acknowledge Him as Messiah but would deceive people with false doctrines and the traditions of men!

There are literally thousands upon thousands who have deceived the multitudes with a perverted gospel. Evangelical preachers, even Spirit filled with good intentions have preached a false gospel of salvation! The "Sinner's prayer" is one of the most seductive and dangerous doctrines ever preached to the lost. To mutter a little prayer to be saved from eternal damnation without the other components that accompany salvation is a different gospel than what Jesus preached.

Nowhere in the New Testament do you see anyone leading anyone in a prayer to be saved! They preached that a man must repent and become born again and follow Jesus, not just pray a prayer and get your ticket punched! The "Sinner's prayer" was developed from Romans 10:9 that if you confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. The main point that is missed is the fact that you are making Jesus your Lord and Master!

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-8

"And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another." Matthew 24:10

It seems today that everyone is offended by something with the "Cancel Culture" dominating corporate America, Hollywood and social media! Anything they don't like or call racist is to be removed immediately so that their agenda of fear mongering can continue!

The underlying motive to this seemingly childish act is to ultimately destroy free speech! With free speech out of the way, the Bible will be deemed an offensive and racist book that will have to be canceled! Once it is on their radar screen Amazon and all the other retailers will drop it like a hot potato! Thus social justice will be carried out!

Without the scripture, false prophets will move in to deceive the multitudes with poisonous doctrines of men and demons! This nonsense seems to be unbelievable but look what has happened in the last couple of months with a new administration of devils running our government!

"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many." Matthew 24:11

"And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Matthew 24:12

Who would believe that multiple American cities would allow rioters to rob, kill and destroy in their cities, their businesses and be allowed to continue unabated! Even if someone was arrested they were quickly let out and encouraged to continue even by your present VP!

Defund the police was promoted by the leaders of these cities while rioters torched their towns and destroyed their livelihoods! Unprecedented lunacy is prevailing in America by democrat mayors and city council members who don't have sense enough to come out of the rain! George Floyd, a convicted felon died of a drug overdose while the officer who was trying to restrain him was arrested for murder. "Black Lives Matter" then made Floyd a national hero and paid his family millions!

Crime and murder are on the rise and lawlessness abounds with a senile President and a democrat mob of morons continues to wreck America! Free speech, the right to bear arms and many of the freedoms Americans once enjoyed are in danger of being eliminated! Murderers, rapists and convicted felons are being let out of prison and at the same time our borders are opened and millions of "Illegal Aliens" are allowed to come in without documentation or being tested for Covid and then let out to go wherever they please!

While these travesties of justice continue, we as believers are to stand firm, be about the ministry of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and await the King of all kings to come again and restore His Kingdom on the earth! May God have mercy!

But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. Psalm 36:7-9

Water represents life, refreshment and restoration in the scripture and without it we would die spiritually. All life must have water, even in the natural world, nothing can survive without it! As we commune with God we are blessed with the rivers of His life giving presence.

Many today walk through deserts of dry and dusty preaching, endless services and Christ-less fellowship! They never experience the life-giving presence of Holy Spirit's flood of joy, peace and love. The river of life is available to all who will dare to step into the depths of His love!

Are you thirsty? Do you want all that He has for you? If so, then dive in to His presence and receive the water of life without cost and He will restore all that the devil has stolen from you! The depth of His ocean of love is bottomless so that whosoever will can go as deep as they want to bathe in His holy presence!

You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

I've got a river of life flowing out of me, Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see, Opens prison doors, sets the captive free. I've got a river of life flowing out of me. Spring up, O well, within my soul. Spring up, O well, and make me whole, Spring up, O well, and give to me, that life abundantly!

The lyrics to the old song says it all, describing the results of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the benefits of His anointing! The river of life is the power and anointing of that which has been given to us to change the world!

Jesus said, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink." The Lord Jesus Christ is our source for light, life and spiritual drink, it is He who can transform our spirits from a dry and dusty desert to a beautiful oasis filled with the water of life and the fruit of His Spirit!

When one submits his life under the leading of God's Holy Spirit and is baptized with power from on high he is filled with the very presence of the Most High God that literally transforms a person of flesh into a supernatural spiritual being!

"He who believes in Me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." John 7:38

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1:1-3

My pastor used to tell me concerning hearing the things of the world and that which fills our minds as, "Garbage in, garbage out!" But for the man who fills his heart and mind with God's word it bears good fruit and the refreshing waters of life!

To meditate on the word of God is to read and then listen for the revelation of it from the still small voice of Holy Spirit. As you set your mind on the things above you will receive a heightened sense of God's presence and His focus on filling your heart with the fruit of His Spirit.

If you are dry and dusty from the things of the world and the onslaught of the daily pressures of life and attacks of the powers of darkness then run to the Lord and dive into His waters of life. Develop a "Divine Dialog" with Him who loves you and you will see your once burned out existence turn into a garden of the Most High!

“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Psalm 23:1,2

David, the sweet psalmist of Israel, a man after God's own heart who spent countless nights under the stars in communion with the Most High had a solid relationship with Him! David not only knew the Lord, he was known by the Lord as a mighty warrior, a worshiper and a shepherd.

The Lord is our Shepherd if we will submit to His leadership and allow Him to care for us. Sheep, whether animal or human are a full time job to feed and water and they are always in need. A sheep that is wet, heavy with wool and falls down and rolls over on his back cant get up and is called a cast sheep. It's the same with the human version, when we fall it usually takes a Shepherd to pick us up!

Jesus leads us to still waters that we may drink. Sheep wont drink from rushing water because it scares them, thus the Shepherd of our souls leads us into the quiet streams of His presence! Is the Lord your Shepherd, do you thirst and hunger for His refreshing presence that will restore your soul?

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. Psalm 23:3

We all need restoration from that which has caused destruction in our lives, whether from addiction, divorce, sickness or the sins that so easily beset us! God's love restores to us what the enemy has stolen from us and fills us with His Holy Spirit, that warm soothing oil of joy and gladness!

When King David sinned with Bathsheba, had her husband murdered and lied about the whole affair, Nathan the prophet confronted him and the Lord convicted him so that he confessed and repented. God forgave him and restored his soul although the consequences of his sins followed him to the grave.

Is your soul in need of restoration? Do you need to confess and repent of something you have done and are presently convicted of? Then don't delay because God promised that if we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness and lead us back on to the path that leads to righteousness!

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You. Psalm 51:12,13

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

My mother and father both died of cancer and all through my life until I was born again I feared the disease and death. Two years ago I was diagnosed with high grade bladder cancer and from the time I woke up from the biopsy until the Lord healed me I had no fear!

It was amazing grace all during my two week stay in the hospital and through the second procedure I had no fear because I knew for certain that He was with me! The shadow of death is an apparition, a supernatural appearance by a spirit of fear! For the believer there is no fear of death and the shadow of it can be removed by the presence of God's love and care for us!

Fear not! The rod and Shepherd's staff of authority will comfort us as we traverse the valley and with God there are no shadows except His in which we stand. He is light and deliverance for us who believe! Praise be to God!

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever. Psalm 23:5,6

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Matthew 7:21-23

When all is said and done and you stand before the Most High at the final judgment, what will you hear, "Enter into the joy of the Lord or, 'Depart from Me I never knew you?' " In any case whatever you hear in that moment of time will be too late to do anything about!

There are two judgments, for the believer there is the "The Judgment seat of Christ" where we will be judged for our works in the body. The unbeliever on the other hand will face "The Great White Throne Judgment," where these fateful words will be heard, "Depart into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels!" From this judgment for sin there is no return!

For those who are still alive in this day of trial its not too late, you can still repent and turn from a life of sin, distracted by the cares of this life and the riches of this world that will ultimately burn in the judgment! Your name can still be written in The Lamb's Book of Life!

"He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." Revelation 21:7,8

Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. Luke 10:38-41

We as servants of the Lord are called to utilize our gifts of service in the kingdom but sometimes we can get distracted by our duties and ministry and neglect the most important part, "Our relationship with God!"

I have known of pastors who are so busy in their church that they don't have time to pray and many get their messages off the Internet! Being the director of a large residential program for years and pastoring a church for the people in the program I know what it is like to get so busy with "Ministry" that your time with God is neglected!

When this happens it causes "burnout" which has dire consequences and because of this it is estimated that 1500 pastors and ministers leave the ministry every month not to mention suicide, depression and divorce! The parable of the sower speaks of this when the thorns of life and the cares of the world choke the Word and it becomes un-fruitful!

"But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her." Luke 10:42

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Psalm 46:10

The other side of this scripture is, "Be still and be known by God!" Remember as kids when being fidgety or rowdy your parents would say, "Be still?" So it is with God, we have to be quiet and have a specific time alone with the Most High, communing with Him in fellowship and worship!

The prophet Elijah, mighty man of God and of valor defeated the prophets of Baal and called fire down from Heaven but when it was finished God found him hiding in a cave and asked him, "What are you doing here?" Elijah proceeded to tell Him how busy he was killing the prophets of Baal and Jezebel and being very zealous for the works of God!

God then proceeded to tell Elijah to stand on the mountain before the Lord, knowing he was burned out from all his exploits and spoke to Him concerning hearing His voice. We as His people must hear Him and we must develop a daily dialog with our God, without which we suffer great loss!

Then God said, "Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord." And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. I Kings 19:11,12

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. And the LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?” Zechariah 3:1,2

A firebrand is a piece of burning wood, but another definition is a person who creates unrest or strife, or an agitator! This is our destiny, to agitate the powers of darkness and the hearts of men so that they might repent and be saved! We are the brands plucked from the very fire of God!

Joshua is a type of high priest that represents the Royal Priesthood that would come in the future, the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, called to conquer the powers of darkness and preach the gospel of grace and mercy that enables mankind to be saved! As Joshua was clothed in filthy garments so we too were clothed in rags until the King of all kings washed us in His royal blood!

We are the Royal Priesthood of God, a holy nation of our Lord Jesus Christ appointed by the King Himself, set free from the bonds of this world and anointed to set the souls of men free from sin and death through the power of His gospel. We are the very chosen of God!

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. I Peter 2:9

God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. II Corinthians 5:21

When one is born again and baptized with the very fire of God he is clothed in His righteousness and equipped with the armor of God and the sword of the Spirit to defeat his enemies!

We are no longer just old sinners, saved by grace because we are now more than conquerors! Called to do the "Greater Works" that Jesus promised we would do in His name! How can you sit in a pew and ignore the power given to us who are the "Called of Christ!" We have been commissioned to make disciples of all nations, to carry this gospel around the world to save and deliver the lost at any cost!

The world is in a desperate state with the pandemic raging and thousands sick and dying and we must arise and meet the challenge to see salvation come to those in need of our Savior! Man's attempt at government has failed and America has been overrun by a Jezebel principality that will ultimately destroy her if the church of Jesus Christ doesn't arise and defeat it!

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. II Corinthians 5:20

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. II Corinthians 5:10,11

If God is for us who can be against us as the saying goes and just like the Musketeers of old who guarded the king, so we are all for One as He is for us! Unified in one Spirit, the Body of Christ is in one accord, one spirit and with one mind we are to accomplish that which He has given us to do, to make disciples of all nations!

We are in exciting times as the world is being shaken to its very core under the mighty hand of God! Judgment is falling like rain with a global pandemic afflicting millions and the powers of darkness being loosed around the world wreaking havoc of all kinds! Everything that can be shaken is being shaken 'I will shake heaven and earth. I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms. I will overthrow the chariots And those who ride in them; The horses and their riders shall come down, Every one by the sword of his brother. Haggai 2:21,22

The true Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, washed in His blood, anointed with His Spirit and called into service, "Holy Firebrands of God" must arise to the divine task of calling down the fire to transform men and burn out the impurities of the flesh, and make disciples who will in turn go into all the world with the gospel of mankind's salvation! Glory to God in the highest!

For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. II Corinthians 5:14,15

Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. I Kings 19:11,12

The breath of life is the very breath of God, sometimes undetectable but nonetheless more powerful than mighty winds, earthquakes, and fire! A still small voice called a zephyr, defined as a whispering voice.

The breath of God created all life and everyone born on the planet receives His life giving breath. To know Him intimately one must be still and quiet before Him meditating on His word, seeking His face and confidently awaiting His presence. Many want to hear God's voice but are too busy or too loud to hear Him and they miss their greatest revelation from the very mind of God!

In the midst of this violent storm we call life, be still and know that He is God and He will come to you and speak that which your heart desires. God is our ever present help in time of trouble and will come when asked in faith to deliver us.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7

As long as my breath is in me, And the breath of God in my nostrils, My lips will not speak wickedness, Nor my tongue utter deceit. Job 27:3,4

Jesus breathed on His disciples and they received His Spirit, He called Lazarus out of the grave and he received the breath of life. He raised many, healed many and set many free with the breath of His life!

The greatest miracle I have ever seen is when a young man overdosed and died in my home and we prayed and God restored life to him after being dead for 3-4 hours. Alive but in a coma they took him to the hospital where we had a prayer service. On the way to the service God told me to go to his room and blow the breath of life into him which I did and then proceeded to the service after which the doctor called and said they were going to pull life support, when they did his eyes popped open and he was totally healed! Praise God!

The breath of life restored him and he later joined the army, went to Iraq, came back and I married he and his fiancé and he now works in his dad's company and he and his wife have a son and brand new twin girls! Glory to God!

"The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life." Job 33:4

And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. John 20:22

The very building blocks of New Testament Christianity received the breath of life, living stones, who would construct His temple and fill it with new converts all baptized in His Holy Spirit!

Jesus told them to wait for His promise as He ascended to the throne of His Father to make intersession for them! They did and the breath of God came forth, baptizing them all, the entire company of them in the holy Spirit and with dynamite power! I cant stress enough the receiving of the baptism in the Holy Spirit enough for his disciples to be able to walk in His power and to have victory in their lives and power in their ministry!

One hundred sold-out disciples of Christ in total unity and of one accord waited on the wind to fall and it did, baptizing them with power from on high! This small band grew to 3000 in a matter of hours and absolutely turned the world upside down for the Lord Jesus Christ! We too can do the same thing if we would only receive His power and the breath of His life!

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:2-4

Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

When God becomes the delight of our life He begins to put His desires in our heart and so we begin to desire what He does, those things of the Spirit that produce real spiritual life and peace. Our natural, fleshly minds have a tendency to think about worldly things but God's thoughts are the things of the Spirit.

For instance, we delight and have desires for a man or a woman, a car, a home or a good job, but God said He would provide those things. He on the other hand desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. His world view is different than ours in that the most valuable things in this world are the souls of mankind!

To delight in Him is simple by having the mind of Christ! This comes by renewing our minds and setting them on heavenly things that will produce for us a delight in His desires! So set your desires on heavenly things and the desires of your heart will begin to change.

Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, And I shall keep it to the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it. Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness. Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way. Establish Your word to Your servant, Who is devoted to fearing You. Turn away my reproach which I dread, For Your judgments are good. Psalm 119:33-40

Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:5,6

Our salvation is a lifelong commitment to the Lord, submitting our lives, committing our possessions, family and livelihood to Him who created us and at the right time, saved and delivered us from the world!

We are no longer our own to command, because we have been bought with the price of the Savior's blood that washed away our sins and made us into new creations in Him! He is now the Head and we are His supernatural body in the earth, called to carry on His work, to make disciples of all nations!

If you are born again, you are no longer led by the flesh but by His Spirit. The bonds of this world have been broken and you are not your own anymore. Everything we do must be committed to Him and approved by His Spirit! If that bothers you, it means you still have some of the rebellion of the world that promotes self reliance! All such behavior must be repented of before you can walk in peace with Jesus as your Lord.

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4:13-17

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Psalm 37:7

To rest in the Lord is one of the hardest things for believers to learn because the nature of the flesh wants to lead us and so we get way ahead of the Lord! To rest is to submit to the leading of the Spirit in all that we do!

I am very impatient and impulsive, two very dangerous traits to have and it has taken years to get them under control. Being in prayer meetings with those who were seasoned believers and some missionaries when I was first saved used to drive me nuts to hear how they had to ask God for everything in their lives!

God had to teach me to listen and quit knocking down doors whenever I wanted something. Years ago I was trying to get a job at a large packing house to rebuild one of their machines and kept pestering them to get it when one day I was on my way down there for a meeting when on the news, an ammonia line broke on the floor where I would have been and killed the ones I was dealing with! Needless to say, I learned to listen!

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Psalm 46:10

The above mentioned scripture is a prelude to the "Seven Keys to Abundant Life" that we will observe in Psalm 37. There are many keys, precepts and commands in God's word that open to us the revelation of an abundant life in Christ!

Christianity is meant to totally transform the believer into a New Creation being, no longer bound to the ways of the world being subjected to the absolute glory of Heaven's splendor! In order to seek out this glory it is like mining for gold, meant to sharpen our spirits to find all the hidden treasure of the Most High!

David wrote Psalm 37 as he did many of the psalms because he was a man after God's own heart, always seeking the presence and blessings of of the Most High and he was very sensitive to the Holy Spirit's voice. Be blessed as God's Spirit awakens your heart to the revelation of His word.

Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, And Your righteousness to the upright in heart. Psalm 36:10

Do not fret because of evil doers. nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down as the grass and wither as the green herb. Psalm 37:1,2

To fret is to be irritated and worrisome over those things that pester us and anger us because of evildoers. It seems the whole world has gone absolutely stark raving mad with all the nonsense going on in the news about the election, the virus and the state of the union!

The good news is the fact that all these evildoers will soon be cut down and wither away, including this cursed plague! Worrying and fretting cannot add one good thing to your life, but will make you miserable and anxious. Fretting produces fear and fear will cripple you and cause you to walk in dread without the peace of God that He intended us to live in.

The remedy for fretting is to set your mind on things above and not on the earth, fretting cant change anything, but filling your mind and heart with God's word will! You must practice the presence of God, living in the peace and tranquility of His presence and setting all your concerns on Him!

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:31-34

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct (make smooth or straight) your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6

In order to trust someone you cant see it is imperative to build a strong relationship with God by study, meditation, communication and prayer. Spending time with someone builds trust and answered prayer gives us the assurance that we have a solid relationship with the Lord.

When I first Got saved my new pastor taught me how to have a quiet time with God by setting aside a time every day to commune with Him. Over time I began to have a dialog with God and by journaling I could look back and see where He had answered prayer and so I began to have a track record with the Most High that has lasted these past forty years!

By faith put your trust in Him because He is faithful to open the windows of Heaven and become your best friend and spiritual Father. Spend quality time seeking His face and meditating on His word, praying in the Spirit and resting in His presence!

Psalm 1:1-3

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6

The Word says to trust Him with all your heart, not your mind, that comes next. Trusting God is like falling in love with someone as your heart begins to allow them to enter a relationship with you. Infatuation leads to love and love leads to a solid relationship of trust. We trust those we love!

In order for one to trust God with the mind involves a renewing and restoration of ones mind. Your understanding of things must be changed from a fleshly, worldly view to a spiritual one. You must clean out the old and allow that which is new to fill your mind with the things of the Spirit. The Word instructs us to set our minds on things above and not on the earth!

The third thing is to acknowledge Him in everything we do, not ourselves or someone else but Him and Him alone, that in itself is one of the hardest things to do because of our own rebellious and selfish nature. He must become preeminent in our lives so that our trust is in no-one else!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1,2

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones. Proverbs 3:7,8

The Word says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the wisdom of God is far greater than anything the world offers! In order to develop your trust in God you must be free from fear, doubt and unbelief.

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind. Once we are free from fear we can trust our God to completely take over our lives and provide for us His healing benefits and His supernatural strength. Separation from the world is necessary in order to be free from its grip that produces a self-reliant spirit that hinders our ability to trust God!

You cannot trust God and walk in the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of this world. God said to depart from evil and loving the world is evil! When we set our affections on this world we commit spiritual adultery that causes us to become enemies of God!

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity (ill will and mutual hatred) with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4

Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. Proverbs 3:9,10

It has been said that the last thing to get saved is a man's billfold, because if God has a man's money He has his heart! The truth is that any wealth we may obtain is really not ours, it is His who allowed us to have it in the first place.

Our wealth is to be a constant flow of blessing from us to whomever God leads us to give to, unlike the tithe, the 10% spoken of in the Old Testament, New Testament giving is Spirit led giving! The body of Christ possesses more wealth than they could ever imagine stored in the vaults of Heaven awaiting our prayer for God to provide!

The Word instructs us to give and because of our obedience it will be given back, pressed down, shaken together and running over! For by our standard of measure it will be measured back to us! So, put your trust in the trust account of Heaven and be led in your giving so that your vats will overflow and your barns may be filled with plenty!

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. II Peter 1:2-4
