"Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" Luke 2:49

Growing up in my father's business I learned many things and came to the knowledge of what he actually did for a living, unlike many other sons who get a job and work for someone, working for your father can be challenging to say the least. So it was for the Lord Jesus who at a young age was already concerned with kingdom business.

No other profession can hold a candle to our Father's business who is Creator of the universe and His Son Jesus is King of all kings and Lord of all lords, we being kings and priests serving in the kingdom of God on earth! Ours is the greatest calling anyone can have working to expand and grow a supernatural kingdom by sowing kingdom seed and reaping a harvest of souls for eternal life.

We brought nothing into this world and we will surely not take anything out but the precious souls of those who have been born again of the incorruptible seed that we have sown in their hearts! Our Father's business can be likened to a commercial fishing business in which we fish for the souls of men and deliver them from the wages of eternal death into the glorious realms of kingdom light.

Are you about your Father's business, or are you spending your life working to accumulate something for someone else? Do you feel like you are on a treadmill going no where while your life fades away? It is not too late to give yourself completely to the ministry of Jesus and to reap a harvest that will not fade away and will be stored in Heaven for you to marvel at in the kingdom of your Father. May we all be about our Father's business!

"If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?" Luke 9:23-25
