"But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. "For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, "and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." Matthew 24:37-39

Now we know that the earth will not be destroyed by a flood of water as in the days of Noah because God gave us a covenant sign with the rainbow, so what is the Lord Jesus telling His disciples about the end of the age?

Satan is pouring out of his mouth a flood of lies and deceptive information, false prophesies and anything he can to cause people to be washed away by his deadly diatribe! All this lying devil has in his arsenal of weapons is a lying tongue which has caused the Lord to name him the father of lies! In the garden he told miss Eve that God really didn't mean what He said, that if they ate from the tree of which He said not to eat they would die! But Satan said, "You surely shall not die!"

So they believed his lie, ate from the tree and died spiritually, along with the entire human race! With one lie the devil caused billions of the people of the world yet to come to be washed away by a flood of lies! This caused all of mankind to be born in sin and needing a Savior's blood to wash away their sins and set them free!

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified (pardoned) freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23,24

Jesus warned that in the last days there would be many false prophets who would deceive even the elect and so today we have hundreds of denominations, cults, and sects all proclaiming truth and they are deceiving multitudes with their doctrines of demons! There is a flood of information that is poured out daily through the internet and media, much of which is false and laced with fear!

The Coronavirus is one example of the effects of fear-based information that has not only shut down the whole world but has crippled the entire economic system of the earth! I have never seen so much false information and confusion in my life, even from those who are supposed to know what to do in a pandemic! Not that this is not bad enough, but the real danger is the flood of false teaching concerning the gospel of our salvation, the most important message there is. The apostle Paul warned the churches of those who would pervert the message of this life and for those who did he said for them to be accursed!

Jesus said that the truth would set us free and we were not to fear, but to walk in faith, trusting in the Lord's protection and provision and yet millions are hunkered down all over the world, literally scared to death, many dying at home for fear of going to the ER or their own physician! The devil has succeeded in paralyzing the entire earth with fear, doubt, and unbelief, and though this is a deadly virus we as the people of God are to live under the shadow of the Most High, our refuge and strong fortress! We as the people of God must seek the Lord and cry out for His mercy to be poured out and heal our land!

So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, (the church of Jesus Christ) that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. Revelation 12:15

And Peter answered Jesus and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." Matthew 14:28

The boat the disciples were in was being tossed by stormy seas when Jesus appeared walking on the water. When the disciples saw Him they were fearful and they cried out, but Jesus said to them, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."

Peter cried out to Jesus and asked to come to Him on the sea and Jesus said, "Come." Now everyone knows it is physically impossible for a human being to walk on water, isn't it? Well how in the world will you ever know until you get out of the boat! People today in the body of Christ are scared to death to get out of their comfortable padded pews of complacency and walk on the supernatural waters of this life!

Jesus said that nothing would be impossible to them that believe, but there always requires that first step of faith to see the power of God manifest. Peter believed he could walk on water and so he did because Jesus said he could, that is until he took his eyes off of Him and set his gaze on the stormy seas and he sank! So we too will sink if we take our eyes off of Jesus because we are also in a storm of a world-wide pandemic that is paralyzing people with fear!

And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord save me!" Matthew 14:30

For the past few hundred years the body of Christ, through tradition, doctrines of men and demons and a lack of sound biblical training have become comfortable in their boats of complacency! Tucked away on Sunday in their little lifeboats, the church of Jesus Christ has been lulled to sleep by generations of untrained professional clergy, filled with fear, doubt and unbelief.

The church has always meant to be a great sailing ship, manned by the body of Christ, Captained by the Lord Himself and steered by the Holy Spirit, blown about by the breath of life to save those who are drowning in sin! Never meant to be tied up to a dock or anchored in a harbor, but meant to sail the world in search of the lost, dying, demonized and wounded who would make Jesus their Lord and join His crew!

If you are born again, Spirit filled, new creations in Christ, you will have to get out of your comfort zones and be blown about by the wind of God's Spirit, so set your sails for the supernatural life of God's miraculous destiny He has in store for you! Heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, and if the Lord says, "Come!" Walk on water!

"The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3:8

Be sure and check out my devotional teaching on "Love" on our website now that is a testimony of my journey with Jesus over the past forty years. In them you will read of how the Lord led me to heal the sick, cast out demons and even raise the dead! I dared to get out of the boat and walk in His divine destiny for my life to see the miraculous and it is His desire as well as mine for you to also walk in the supernatural life that God has for each and everyone of you!

Behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:8

Inline image

Could this be the famed fourth horse of the apocalypse, sent to kill a fourth of the earth? Are we in the last of the end times, and if so why are the saints still on the earth? The pandemic that has gone around the world in a matter of days has killed more in America in three months than the Vietnam war!

If not the end, then what? Has God sent the Pale Rider to judge the vicious murder of millions of His precious innocent children in the name of choice? Is it because of the world's blatant idolatry and rebellion against the Most High, or the unconcerned attitude toward the perversion of homosexuality that runs rampant throughout the world, with pedophiles raping our children, drag queens exhibiting themselves in elementary schools and libraries, gay marriage, or is it the fact we just don't have time for God?

In any case this plague that is upon the earth has the ability, left unchecked to destroy the world's economy and kill billions of people and as the scripture states, it was brought about by the beasts of the earth!

And the angel cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit and a cage for every unclean and hated bird." Revelation 18:2

Therefore her plagues will come in one day, death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. Revelation 18:8

We cannot deny the fact that literally everything changed in one day, the virus began to spread as the economy was destroyed with millions out of work and thousands of businesses closed their doors, some for good!

You would think that there would be a global outcry to God for deliverance and healing but people are clamoring for their idols to be restored. Sports, movies and their pleasurable lives brought back to them. But this is not going to be a quick fix! Babylon represents a mindset for idolatry, immorality and perversion, where the lust for money, things and pleasure reigns supreme!

It reminds me of the men of Sodom and Gomorrah who after they were struck blind by the angels sent to destroy them, they were still trying to rape them. So it is today, people are rebelling in the streets protesting any form of quarantine so that they can get their normal lives and livelihood back even if it costs them their life!

So what is the answer? What can we as believers do? Everyone quotes II Chronicles 7:14 but there doesn't seem to be any Godly sorrow or repentance to stay this plague for the mercy and forgiveness of God to heal the land!

David prayed this prayer of confession and repentance when he was convicted of his sins by the prophet Nathan of adultery and murder:

Psalm 51:1-17 Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.
 For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight—
That You may be found just

when You speak,
And blameless when You judge.
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.

Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—

These, O God, You will not despise.

But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." I Samuel 16:7

David, sweet psalmist of Israel, man after God's own heart, mighty warrior and eventually king of Israel began as an obscure shepherd boy in the fields of his father. When the prophet Samuel went to the house of Jesse to anoint a king after Saul's failure he inspected his sons but none of them fit the bill. Then he asked, "Are all the young men here?"

God chose a lad overlooked for greatness by men but precious in the sight of the Most high, not because of physical stature, but for his heart, a heart set on seeking and worshiping God. Most of the Israeli youth were proficient with a sling, but God didn't choose David for his skill nor his strength, but for his willingness to please and obey Him.

Through divine providence Saul had heard of David's gift to worship and play the harp and so he sent for him and his father Jesse loaded a donkey with provisions for his sons at the battlefield and David came before Saul. Saul had disobeyed God and an evil spirit was sent to him, tormenting him and the only remedy was the sweet anointed worship of David.

And so it was, whenever the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take the harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well and the distressing spirit would depart from him. I Samuel 16:23

And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. I Samuel 17:4

David had the heart of a true warrior of God and the confidence to defeat any enemy sent against him, not confidence in his flesh, but faith in his mighty God to vanquish his adversaries. Knowing who's battle it was he confidently approached his enemy, Goliath who was spewing out fear, doubt and unbelief, trying to stop David's forward motion.

We as believers have all power and authority over our enemies but before you engage be sure it is God leading you and not your own flesh. David had already killed a lion and a bear and knew the Lord had called him to war against God's enemies, Goliath being the first. I often warn people of the counter attack but few listen because of their spiritual pride and sometimes the consequences can be deadly!

The sons of God are led by the Spirit, so be sure of his calling and the anointing you have been given to war with the powers of darkness. If you do this you will prove to have the heart of a warrior, equipped for battle in the army of the Lord! Not by might, nor by power but by My Spirit says the Lord!

Then David said to Goliath, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. "Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's and He will give you into our hands." I Samuel 17:45-47
