"I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." John 10:9
If you have ever been a member of a church in America or just about any place in the world for that matter you have seen many come in, stay awhile and then leave through the revolving door of the man-made church. It's man-made because it revolves around man and not the Lord Jesus Christ!
You don't see revolving doors much anymore, but there is one here in Ft. Worth at a local hospital and I hate that thing! It revolves on its own and you have to time your entry and step in with half a dozen others so as to not be crushed. The Lord gave me the idea of the revolving door and how it relates to the church as I watched a local pastor of a large church preaching on Sunday. All the chairs are in a semi circle around the man who is speaking and even though his message was good, it still revolves around him.
This is the point I am trying to make, the divine design of God's assembly of believers is in no way like what we have seen erected in the last several hundred years by man, from Constantine's church of the State, down to today's Laodecean lukewarm assembly of weekend warriors. Lets face it, today's church has become a spectator sport that revolves around a man who when you suck all the spiritual life out of him, you leave and go to the next superstar preacher down the street who will feed you!
"So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth." Revelation 3:16
RICH AND IN NEED OF NOTHING
"Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and in need of nothing,' and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked." Revelation 3:17
Billions are spent on comfort, building "Crystal Cathedrals" of complacency for the rich to luxuriate in and to revel in their accomplishments and yet the poor and destitute are not allowed to sleep in their buildings. "Why, they might steal something!" I could go on and on but I wont, because if you have any discernment at all you know that what we call church today is wrong!
The glorious church of Jesus Christ is a Person, made up of born again Spirit filled followers who are the representation of Him in the earth, ambassadors to a lost world, we are commissioned to do what He did when He began His ministry. Jesus said that we would do even greater miracles than He did, but the modern day church, most of whom are lost don't have a clue because they haven't received the love of the truth so as to be saved!
First of all the church is to be planted by apostles who have the blueprint or "Divine design" of the supernatural building and then the other gifted members of the five-fold ministry are to train the body for the work of service. No where in scripture does it have a pastor start a church and preach to a congregation in a building once a week and most of what we have today in our services came out of paganism.
How is it then brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. I Corinthians 14:26
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me." Revelation 3:20
Lest face it, they will never open the door and let Jesus in! After all He would ruin our orderly timed services meant to allow us to get out on time to watch the football game. Contrary to popular belief this is not a salvation scripture, Jesus is knocking on the door of His church! Can you imagine what He would do or say in most of our churches?
If you are born again, you are a member of His supernatural body and you have a part in the healthy operation and commission to go and do what He has called you to do. Believers are never supposed to be obscure spectators hidden in a pew and forgotten by the Holy Spirit, we are His body, His assembly of saints called and anointed to change the world by preaching the gospel to the poor, casting out demons, raising the dead and healing the sick!
As I said before, "Church is not a place to go, it is a Person to be!" The Person of the Lord Jesus Christ: Savior, Deliverer and Lord of all, Who sent us into the earth to be stewards of the mysteries of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven!
"To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as also I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." Revelation 3:21,22

To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. Titus 1:15
In my 38 year journey with Jesus I have seen a lot of things and like the insurance ad, I know a couple of things because I have seen a couple of things! One of the things I have seen in over ten thousand hours of deliverance and counseling in ministry is this: "No one ever gets free from the bondage of sin and demonic control unless they are transparent and honest with God!"
Deliverance is really a simple thing if you come clean about all the things you have hidden in the little closets of your heart. You can't dynamite a demon out of a person who is hiding something in his heart, whether lust, or lying, abuse or theft, bitterness or un-forgiveness, unless it is exposed, cleansed by the blood of Jesus and repented of, it will remain!
The Greek word for defilement means to contaminate, to stain, taint or spot, in other words, something has compromised our spirits. We as believers are to be pure in spirit, pure in doctrine, pure in our mind and pure in our flesh. Jesus said that we are to be perfect (complete) as our heavenly Father is perfect!
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. II Corinthians 7:1
A SPOTLESS BRIDE
That He might present her (His bride) to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27
We believers are the wife of Jesus, the bride of the King of all kings, we are the apple of His eye and the most prized possession He has! Because of religious tradition and the doctrines of men and demons this has been severely downplayed, meant only as an allegory, but the truth of the matter is the fact that we are His "Soul Mates!"
Would Jesus want a bride who was unfaithful to Him, an adulteress who went out with other men and would He only see her one day a week, or maybe only on Christmas and Easter? Sounds ridiculous but so is most of the religious nonsense that is practiced in His church today by those professing to be believers! Many believe He resides in the sanctuary of their church building, reinforced by greedy shepherds who fleece His sheep and poison His people with false and dangerous teachings.
We wonder why there are few miracles today and why most of our church services are dead and lifeless and the reason is, we have left our first love and gone a whoring after other things that contain no spiritual value! Remember the parable of the sower concerning the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches that choke the word right out of our hearts, they also choke the love for Him out of our lives and we become empty and desolate, just like a husband and wife who have fallen out of love!
Adulteresses! 'Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity (ill will or mutual hatred) with God?' Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4
ENGAGED TO CHRIST
For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed (engaged) you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. II Corinthians 11:2
The Jewish betrothal is much different than our Western engagement, whereas the groom, once he and his perspective bride had signed the betrothal agreement he would leave to go and prepare a place for them to live, sometimes taking quite a while. The bride would then wait for her groom to return, not knowing when and would have to remain in a time of readiness when he appeared suddenly to claim his prize!
Like a "Thief in the night" the groom would come to surprise his bride by shouting her name and the blast of the shofar, the trumpet would announce his arrival! So it is with us, the Lord Jesus will come for us, His bride, dressed in readiness and pure as driven snow, He will take us to our eternal home in the heavenlies! We are standing at the very edge of eternity and the Lord's return for a spotless bride is eminent, are you ready?
Have you cleansed your heart in expectation of His return or are you entangled with the things of the world? Have the lusts and pleasures of life captivated your heart or are you a pure and transparent vessel waiting for the "Lover of your soul?" The time has come and the trumpets have been blowing, it is time we cleansed ourselves to meet the Lord as His bride, faithful and true!
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. I Corinthians 15:51,52
