The Lord God sent Adam out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So he drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east end of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:23,24

Adam sinned and rebelled against the command of the Most High and lest he eat of the tree of life and live forever he was cast out of the garden of Eden. Mankind was cursed and driven out of paradise because of Adam's sin until the Last Adam, Jesus allowed us entrance again through the blood shed in the garden of Gethsemane.

As I said before, Jesus shed His blood in seven places, from the garden to the cross to deliver us from the generational curse of sin and death. The night He submitted Himself to become the supreme sacrifice for us to whom the punishment was due, His sweat turned to blood, a rare medical condition caused by extreme stress called Hematidrosis.

Jesus made a way for us to enter the garden of God's all sufficiency where His presence and provision dwell for all who make Him Lord. The first shedding of blood by the Savior who laid down His life so that we could live forever!

"Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours be done." Then an angel appeared to Him from Heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Luke 22:42-44
