And He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect (complete) man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

The gift of a five-fold ministry of equippers given to the church is our model for us to follow as saints of God. The body of Christ was never meant to be ruled by a pastor, only mentioned twice in the New Testament. It was meant to be equipped for service in the army of God as ministers of the gospel, doing the work, not sending some hireling to do it for us!

If you are satisfied to sit and rot in some mausoleum one day a week listening to a talking head and feeling good about yourself, something's wrong deep within your spirit because you are deceived! Lulled to sleep, having your ears tickled until your heart is as hard as rock. Millions have been led into these Christ-less cemeteries, whitewashed tombs full of dead men's bones as Jesus explained it.

We are in a time of war at the end of all things where the powers of darkness are prevailing against an anemic church steeped in sin and deaf to the call of Christ! I advise you to read your Bible, repent of your complacency and rise up and join your brothers and sisters who are embroiled in the battle of their lives! May God have mercy on us all!

That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head-Christ. Ephesians 4:14,15
