"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Acts 1:8

To weaponize is to use as a weapon of war or to supply or equip with a weapon. We are God's weapons for spiritual war, His soldiers, called and equipped for battle in this great conflict with the powers of darkness.

When one is saved the Holy Spirit comes into his soul, residing within his spirit and connecting with his conscience. When he is baptized in the Holy Spirit he is empowered, for instance, when you plug your lamp into a 110 volt outlet you have light, but when you plug into 220 volt you have power to run heavy machinery. (Lean mean fighting machines!) Many today have been saved but never baptized with power and so they have no gifts nor weapons to fight off the enemy.

When Jesus told His one hundred twenty disciples to wait on the promise of His Spirit they were saved but not empowered and when the Holy Spirit came upon them, they all spoke in tongues and ultimately 3000 people were saved! In Acts 19:1-6 the apostle Paul found some disciples who had not been baptized in the Holy Spirit and he asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? They said, "No, they had only been baptized in water." Are you baptized with power to overcome your enemies, or just an old sinner saved by grace?

And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with other tongues and prophesied. Acts 19:6
