Having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Ephesians 6:15

Our mission in life, however small or large is to spread the good news of the gospel of peace and to be ready in a moments notice to do so. Having our feet shod means we are prepared to go as with the shodding of a horse's shoe, without which, it would not be ready for battle.

We, being soldiers for Christ, having been discipled and equipped with the gospel of peace are called to conquer by setting the captives free from the bondage of sin and death. The gospel is the message of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, who sacrificed His life for us, that those who repent and believe will be saved.

Today the gospel has been clouded, being watered down and made easy for the masses to fill the sanctuaries of the false prophets, teachers and pastors who tickle the ears of the unbelieving and pad their pockets with the offerings of the unsuspecting. Don't be deceived, praying a prayer doesn't save you, nor going to church, nor being good, but only by repenting of your sins and believing in His death and resurrection can one be truly transformed into a new creation!

"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" Romans 10:15

Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
