The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from Heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those made of dust; and as the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. I Corinthians 15:47,48

The first man, Adam was made of dust as we are also, the people whom God created to inhabit the planet and become fruitful and multiply. This was the first spiritual war on earth when Lucifer and his angelic rebels landed in the garden of Eden!

Mankind was about to suffer its first defeat with the Master of Disaster who appeared to Adam and his wife Eve with malice in his darkened heart and a diabolical scheme to destroy mankind. I don't know if Satan knew that if Adam sinned against the Most High that all of mankind would fall headlong in sin requiring a blood sacrifice to set them free, but nonetheless he continued his devilish diatribe.

Mesmerized by the charms of a talking serpent, Eve listened intently as the Devil asked her if God had said, "You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" The woman then said to the serpent, "You shall not eat it, nor touch it, lest you die." Obviously Eve didn't know what Adam had told her because he didn't say anything about touching it! A danger for us today who don't know God's word!

Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." Genesis 3:4,5
