In The Name, Power, Blood And Authority Of Jesus Christ, Part III

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which" He said, "you have heard from Me: "for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Acts 1:4,5

When one is born again he is indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but usually his power is limited, not being baptized in the Spirit, which gives us unlimited power to do that which the Lord has called us to do. It is like the difference between 110 volt single phase electricity and 220 volt 3 phase. 110 volt is used for household appliances and small hand tools, but 220 volt 3 phase is for heavy industrial equipment!

We as believers have to be endowed with the power of the Holy Spirit in order to perform the greater works that Jesus said we would perform in His stead. The baptism in the Holy Spirit has ceased to be taught in most churches today, greatly diminishing her power to transform the world! The body of the Lord Jesus Christ is the most powerful entity in the world, but like an expensive European sports car, it wont outrun a Volkswagen without fuel! Unless we get back to the main issue of His church and train people to go, we will remain in a vegetated state of complacency while the world sinks into Hell!

The power of Holy Spirit awaits you, along with the supernatural gifts that enable us to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead and perform miracles, necessary to give witness to the world that the Lord Jesus Christ truly lives in us! Do you want to continue to rot away in a pew listening to some warm and fuzzy sermonette telling you how great you can become, or do you want to experience in your life the same power that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead? The choice is yours!

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8

Your servant in Christ, Tim Laughlin
