In The Name, Power, Blood And Authority Of Jesus Christ, Part I

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry for the edifying (building up) of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11,12

Thirty five years ago I was born again and shortly after that life changing experience was baptized in the Holy Spirit. A friend gave me a Bible and led me to my first church experience where I met a man who taught me how to seek God on my own and to commune with Him on a daily basis. I was mentored by a common carpet cleaner who taught me how to cast out demons and to pray for the sick and that is where I started using the phrase, "In the name, power, blood and authority of Jesus Christ!"

We as believers need to assert our position of authority and power when addressing demon spirits of destruction and disease as representatives of the Lord Jesus in whose name we minister. We are sons of God sent as ambassadors into a fallen world needing healing, deliverance and redemption and there is no other name in which we proclaim this power! The Holy Spirit teaches us as we go in faith and we have no need of human intervention, being supernatural disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ! Our mission is to be the expression of Him who died and rose to be the Supreme Commander of all the host of Heaven and earth!

In these last days of distress and unrest upon the earth it is to our advantage to preach the gospel of our salvation to the lost and to cast out devils and heal the sick in His name because the time has been shortened and the coming of the Lord is eminent. Rise up and prepare for war, equip yourselves for battle and be about your Father's business, not of living for yourselves, but for Him who gave His life for us all!

Til we all come to the unity of the faith and to the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:13
