In The Light Of His Presence

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever. Hebrews 6:19.20

Jesus was our forerunner who went before us to make a way into the Holy of Hollies, the place of God's presence where He dwells in unapproachable light. The old covenant was done away with and a new covenant written with the very blood of the Lord Jesus Christ was established so that we as His priesthood could enter the light of His presence forever!

As Jesus was dying on the cross for us with His flesh torn and bloody, the angels were tearing the veil of separation in the temple in two making a way for man to enter the very presence of the Most High God. No more dead rituals or sacrifices or traditional worship, the old covenant had come to an end and a new and living way was consecrated for us through the veil of His flesh. Man could now enter the holy place of His presence by the blood of the Son of God. The law was fulfilled and the old priesthood was done away with forever and a new priesthood of believers was about to burst forth on the scene.

The new covenant of blood was in place and a new breed of follower was birthed as the thief on the cross asked Jesus to remember Him and He said to him, "Today you will be with Me in paradise." If you are tired of the works of the flesh and a dead ritualistic form of worship then come into the Holy of Hollies that Jesus prepared His priesthood of believers to enter and receive the fullness of His joy and peace and provision, it is your inheritance in the Spirit.

But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. Hebrews 8:6

But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:11,12

Once reserved only for the High Priest to enter the Holy of Hollies and make atonement for the sins of the people once a year, but now has been opened forever for us by the blood of the Lord Jesus, we can enter boldly into the very throne room of God! As we follow the bloody footprints into the Presence of God through the veil that once separated us from the Father we enter His realm of light and glory only to surrender forever our fleshly lives.

As you make your way to the place of His presence your heart begins to convict you that your works and your reputation as well as your accolades, and even your gifts cannot come through the veil, only you in complete surrender and humility can continue on. When you finally take the step to enter you immediately become aware that you are completely naked before the Most High, but like Adam you become engulfed with His presence. Stripped of all humanity you are in the Spirit in the throne room of God and you realize the peace and tranquility of His presence where there is no warfare, no sickness and no enemy, the war is over.

How could this be, no enemy to bind and loose, no disease to conquer, no more poverty, only the peace that surpasses even our human understanding. No, none of these things exist beyond the veil because they were done away with and nailed to the cross, defeated forever! The powers of darkness are non-existent, disarmed and under our feet, and the word of God resounds in your heart, "On earth as it is in Heaven!" Life beyond the veil is the realm of God's throne where all power and principality are dealt with as He rules the universe from His supreme seat of power and authority. From the throne of the Most High God come the revelation of His will given to His servants in the world to perform their duty in the Spirit and not by the works of the flesh.

But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. Hebrews 10:12-14

Around the throne were twenty- four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. Revelation 4:4

The apostle John was taken in the Spirit into the very throne room of the Most High where the Lord Jesus Christ was seated in power with twenty four elders sitting around Him worshiping. We would be surprised to know who these elders are as I always assumed I knew, but now I'm not sure as I come to know the Lord more intimately because He is no respecter of persons. Never the less they were worshiping Him who sat upon the throne as the universe was being ruled in the Spirit.

The church of Jesus Christ has fallen into disrepair for one major reason and that is they have forgotten the new covenant written in the Savior's blood and they have left their first love which is He who sits on the throne of grace. They have remained under an old priesthood of tradition and ritual passed down through the ages and have settled for a covenant of guilt rather than one of grace and power. We have been set free to rule and reign with the King of all kings, a priesthood of believers destined for eternal life empowered by His Spirit and given all authority over the enemies of God, but we mill around the world and act like we are just old sinners, saved by grace spend our time waiting for something that many aren't sure will even come to pass.

I encourage you to take a hard look at your spiritual condition and examine your life in the light of His presence and see if it lines up with His word. Are you experiencing the abundant life that Jesus promised His followers or are you following the basic principals of the world which will lead you into futility. The church of the Lord Jesus is not confined to the things of the world and we are called to come up higher and set our minds and hearts on things above where Christ is seated, in heavenly places. We as believers are called into the very presence of Heaven to live our lives as He did when He was on the earth and to represent Him to a lost and dying world that desperately needs a Savior's mercy and grace.

And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us a kingdom of priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth." Revelation 5:9,10
