America, the land of the free and home of the brave, prosperous beyond belief, who wouldn't want to live here?
At one time I was proud to be an American until I became a citizen of a foreign country in 1980. You see I was an illegal alien seeking entrance to the kingdom of heaven. I was not able to enter because of my sin, but the King offered me amnesty and pardoned me, giving me the right to become a citizen.
I am so grieved that a country that is so blessed being formed originally by illegal aliens could be so cold and hard hearted to reject someone seeking to better themselves. The Christian community should run toward them and offer them the same grace that Jesus gave them.
Remember, we ran them out of their own country, then hired them back to do our dirty work, and now we will probably hire them to build a wall to keep them out.
And if a stranger (alien) dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him. The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as your self; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt, I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 19: 32,33
I was a stranger and you took Me in. Matthew 25:35
