Cast your burden on the Lord and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. (shaken) Psalm 55:22

As you all know I was diagnosed with a high grade bladder cancer about six months ago and the doctor who found it said it looked like an angry beast. For someone who hasn't been sick nor been to a doctor in 45 years it has been a harrowing experience to say the least.

I believe cancer is not only demonic but fear based and I also believe we have all power and authority over it. The grace of God covered me through this trial and there were few times fear tried to attack me, but I will say that you have to pray without ceasing in order to gain the advantage and defeat the beast.

Throughout this ordeal God taught me to appropriate His promises of healing and deliverance and had me write a devotional teaching on the subject, "Appropriating the Promises of God" which is on our website under messages. He also reinforced in me who we are in Christ as "Joint Heirs" seated with Him in heavenly realms as His chosen people.

The Lord had given me a word a couple of months ago that I would receive a clean bill of health and that I would be healed and yesterday at my doctors appointment it came to pass. Mary Ann and I waited three hours to see the doctor and finally they called my name and we went in. My doctor is an Italian/Russian Professor and an expert on bladder and kidney cancer and he told me at the outset that I had a 70% chance of saving my bladder, even though the first urologist wanted to take it out!

The doctor's PA came in first, explaining my pathology and telling me that they might do chemo or immunotherapy called BCG, but it would be up to the doctor. Finally the Doc came in with a big smile on his face and told us there would be no need to treat something that wasn't there! It was really strange since the pathology had been in for 6 weeks and I had been told there would be more treatment when I healed up.

We had been praying against any form of chemo or anything that would ultimately destroy my immune system and God came through and performed a miracle right in front of us. The doctor then told me, "I'll see you in 3 months for a checkup to make sure it hasn't returned," Praise be to God! Needless to say, Mary Ann and I left praising God and giving Him all the glory!

I want to sincerely thank all of you who prayed us through this trial and praise God for your faithfulness. Please continue to pray that the cancer does not return and that this testimony will encourage those who are sick to trust God and appropriate His promise to heal them! May God bless you all!

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. I Peter 5:6,7

Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you." John 20:19

While meditating on a message for 2019 I felt like the Lord would speak through a scripture and He gave me John 20:19. Jesus had risen from the dead and the disciples were all huddled together in fear for their lives when Jesus appeared and said to them, "Shalom."

In the world there is no peace, but for us who are born again followers of Christ we are promised to have Shalom! As we enter 2019 in a time of political chaos, division and financial uncertainty we have to remember who we are and to Whom we belong. The Hebrew word for peace is Shalom which means: peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare and tranquility.

In order for us to experience Shalom we must be still in the midst of the storms of life, always looking to Jesus who is ever present to calm our fears and concerns that plague us, trying to rob our peace and steal our joy! So, with this in mind I say to you in 2019, "Shalom!"

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7

Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

RTC is an equipping ministry for those seeking a higher level of service, dedication and consecration in serving the Lord. Our mission is to train and equip individuals in the Body of Christ to become true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ through sound biblical teaching, personal experience and hands on ministry.

My wife Mary Ann and I have been involved in virtually every aspect of ministry in the past thirty years which includes residential care for life controlling issues, family counseling and ministry in the criminal justice system. We have ministered within the Parole Division in Texas and have been involved in prison and jail ministry throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Both Mary Ann and I are ordained non-denominational ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Certified Belief Therapists through the ministry of Therapon Institute which is recognized by the State of Texas as a viable counseling ministry. As a result of our personal hands on experience we feel led to share with others the power and anointing that comes through a daily walk with God in prayer and study of His word.

Our vision is to spread the truth of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ around the world, not only in word but in actually doing the greater works that He promised. If you would like to know more about the Ministry of Restoration or would like to receive our weekly messages please contact us.

Our Mission:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor: he has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
Luke 4:18-19
