"So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the righteous, "and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 13:49,50

Ancient Israel rebelled against the Most High by sacrificing their children to the demon gods by driving them with whips into the fire of Gehenna, a literal garbage dump where bodies were burned. The children wailed with pain and gnashed their teeth in agony as they succumbed to the fire, a type of Hell!

Jesus mentioned Hell more than He did Heaven because of His compassion and concern for the souls of men and women, not wanting any to perish. Hell was created for the devil and his angels and it was never intended for man to go there. Because of modern day preachers desiring to fill sanctuaries, Hell is not mentioned much anymore and there is no fear of God in the churches.

Hell is a real place, a place of total darkness without direction nor rest, where fear reigns and the fire is never quenched. The smoke of Hell, filled with the choking stench of death and burning sulfur suffocating those in its grip is a place you want to avoid at all costs! Those who have died and entered this horrible place and came back, told of the most frightening tales of suffering, fear, pain and hopelessness!

If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life crippled, rather than having two hands, to go to Hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched- "Where their worm (flesh) does not die, and the fire is not quenched." Mark 9:43,44

"If anyone does not abide (live, dwell and remain) in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they (angels) gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned." John 15:6

Those who have sinned against God, rebelled against His word and willfully transgressed His laws and covenant will be thrown ultimately into the Lake of Fire! God has provided us all a way of escape from this terrible place of torment through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ to those who repent and make Him their Lord!

Don't think that because you prayed a prayer, walked an isle, were baptized, or joined the church that this will save you, because unless you repented of your sins believing in the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and the finished works of Calvary with a visible transformation and an ongoing relationship, you will be cast into Hell!

Most today have been taught that the "Sinner's Prayer" will somehow punch their ticket for Heaven, but it is not some magical oath that will make you a Christian, it is your devotion to Christ in a covenant oath of discipleship that will insure your eternal destination. The sinner's prayer, developed from Romans 10:8-10 but taken from Deuteronomy 30 is actually an oath of loyalty to God through a lifelong relationship and not a one time prayer.

If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord (you cant confess Him as Lord unless He is in fact, your Lord) and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

"Serpents, brood of vipers! How shall you escape the sentence (condemnation) of Hell?" Matthew 23:33

Jesus rebuked the religious crowd of self-righteous Pharisees who because of their positions and knowledge of the law, although they didn't obey it, thought they were above everyone else! Today there are millions of church goers who think because they spent an hour in church once a week they were somehow above all the other sinners too!

In order to escape the sentence of Hell one must confess and repent of their sins and by turning away from evil, acknowledge Jesus as their Lord, giving their life to Him in obedience and receive the blood He shed to set them free! No one in the New Testament was led in a prayer, they were convicted of their sins and told to repent and follow Jesus, believing in the saving grace and mercy of His death, burial and resurrection.

There is a day coming for all to be judged, the sinner will stand before the "Great White Throne" and be judged for their sins and the believers will stand before the "Judgment Seat of Christ" to be judged and or rewarded for what they did or didn't do in the body of Christ! Only those whose names appear in the "Lamb's Book of Life" will inherit eternal life! So, with this in mind, where will you stand? At the entrance of the gates of Hell or at the glorious gates of Heaven's splendor? The choice is yours!

"He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son. "But the cowardly, unbelieving sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." Revelation 21:7,8
