My son and daughter, do not forget my law, (word) but let your heart keep my commands; for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. Proverbs 3:1,2
King David's son, Solomon was given the gift of Godly wisdom and it made him one of the most successful and wealthiest men on the planet. Solomon recorded much of his wisdom in the Proverbs, given to us to learn the steps to an abundant life. If you will make these five steps a habit by incorporating them into your life, your life will become fruitful and you will be blessed beyond belief.
Mercy and Truth- Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3,4
As we have received mercy and truth, we are compelled to show mercy and share truth with those we come in contact with just as Jesus did. Our ministry is based on the mercy given to all who would believe and receive. In His last act of mercy as He was dying on the cross, He forgave the thief next to Him and spoke truth to him when he said, "Today, you will be in paradise with Me!"
Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth and righteousness shall look down from Heaven. Psalm 85:10,11
