Faith, Hope & Love, Part III

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

Hebrews 11 is the Bible's hall of faith in which many of God's people trusted Him in faith and saw miraculous outcomes to their prayers and petitions. Throughout the word of God men and women of faith have triumphed over their enemies, received back their dead, experienced miracles of healing and deliverance and saw the glory of God touch the earth with it's creative power.

Today the body of Christ at large needs to step out of their boats of unbelief and meet the Lord on the seas of humanity in which there is great need for their assistance in making disciples, healing the sick, raising the dead and seeing multitudes born again by the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ! As we are approaching the return of Christ, millions of people fill the sanctuaries of thousands of churches once a week to sing a song, hear an uplifting message, write a check and go to lunch, while most of the world is perishing in the fires of Hell because no one is obeying the commission of Christ!

We as born again believers are not called to follow some man's selfish vision to fill a building, but we are called to a lost and dying world that desperately needs Jesus, offered by a people who will stand in faith, fight off the powers of darkness and operate in the power and authority that God has given us to expand His kingdom.

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author (originator) and finisher (perfecter) of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1,2
