The Promises Of God: Part IV

The steps of a good man are ordered (established) by the Lord, and He delights in His way. Though He fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand. Psalm 37:23

In God's kingdom there are no good and bad men, only saved and forgiven men and if they fall, they will not be forsaken. King David was a good man, a man after God's own heart, the sweet psalmist of Israel, and mighty warrior of God! But he fell into sin!

David was a man like us although one of the greatest military commanders in the history of the world, he was open to be tempted by the devil! One season he declined to go to war being what I believe as burned out! Too much war, too much conflict with His father-in-law, Saul and maybe even too many wives!

One night on his porch he was enamored with his next-door neighbor's wife, Bathsheba bathing nude in full view of his balcony. The moment the devil had dreamed of finally came to pass and David couldn't stand it any longer and had her brought to his bed chamber. In an instant of lustful desire, he was about to ruin his life by committing adultery and when she became pregnant, he had her husband Uriah murdered!

I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. Psalm 37:25

Mission Statement

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Luke 4: 18-19

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God. Tim and Mary Ann are available to speak to your church or organization. Personal counseling and individual training are available upon request. Drug and alcohol addiction therapy is also available for adults and teens through support groups and referrals. For more information please contact us. ***Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."   Psalms 103: 2-4***
