By Faith, Part IX

And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets; who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Hebrews 11:32-34

The hall of faith is filled with the miracles wrought by ordinary people standing on the word and promises of God to achieve supernatural solutions to impossible situations. There is absolutely nothing that is impossible to our God who birthed the entire universe by faith and has given us the same gift to use to change the world!

From cover to cover the scriptures tell of fantastic stories of deliverance, healing, the dead being raised, enemies defeated and on and on, all done by people who simply believed God's word and acted upon it in faith. Christianity is the only religion, although it is not really a religion but a relationship, that produces supernatural results by acting on the promises of their Creator.

Nothing written in scripture has passed away, none of the promises of God are null and void as many believe, although some scripture is fulfilled by the advent of the Christ, but nonetheless, God's word is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow!

"Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You." Jeremiah 32:17

Your servant in Christ, Tim Laughlin
