By Faith, Part III
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
From the time of the creation of the world when God spoke into existence the entire universe, every living creature on the planet and man, faith has been the building block of His kingdom. As we learned in Hebrews 11:1 faith is a substance, an actual supernatural material that everything is created from.
We as believers are to exercise our faith, just as we exercise our bodies, to produce muscle, we also use our faith as it grows and produces a bold confidence to believe God for impossible things. Throughout scripture men and women have performed great miracles of faith, standing on the word of God and trusting Him to bring a favorable outcome in answer to their prayer.
In order to please God we must live by faith and not by sight, trusting God for all of our worldly needs as well as our supernatural requests, such as healing, deliverance and the salvation of men's souls. God delights in our use of faith to change circumstances or to take Him at His word for supernatural results as kingdom people.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1,2
