The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way aright, but the wicked will fall by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, but the unfaithful will be caught by their lust. Proverbs 11:3-6

Throughout the word of God it speaks of the righteous and the wicked, the righteous belonging to God and the wicked belonging to Satan! Today it is hard to distinguish who is of God and who is of the devil because the earth is full of wickedness and most true believers are hidden from sight, many alone and doing what they are called to do, while the tares of the field are becoming evident.

Although the righteous struggle with the flesh we are in fact made righteous in God's sight and in His eyes we are in right standing with Him. The wicked on the other hand are lost and dying in their sins with no hope of escaping the fires of Hell lest they repent and surrender to the Savior's grace and mercy to deliver them.

I just answered a lady's question about why a child would lie and I told her that he was of his father the devil, born in sin and belonging to the father of lies. Startled, she blamed it on a medical problem and I preceded to tell her that unless one is born again and washed in the blood of Jesus they will remain in their wicked state!

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified (pardoned) by His blood, we shall be saved (delivered) from wrath (anger of God) through Him. Romans 4:8,9
