And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

Up until now, 2000 years since Christ first said to His disciples, "Follow Me" the kingdom has suffered violence to its sound doctrine of divine leadership and the perversion of the "Original model" that Jesus intended for His church!

Most would say that our Pastor is our leader, but pastor is only mentioned twice in the New Testament and is never mentioned specifically leading a church body, although everyone who leads is called pastor! For those who read these messages who have grown up in "Church" they will seem strange and unfamiliar with what has been taught in the body of Christ!

For men to lead they must first be led by the Spirit, being sound in doctrine, pure in motive and passionate about His calling. For one to be successful in leadership he must be totally submitted to God's mission to build up and lead His "Ekklesia." Your ministry is not your ministry until it is His ministry!

I urge you brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1
