God's Promise for Healing
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalms 103: 2-5

GOD'S WILL FOR HEALING - Is it really God's will to heal us and does He heal everyone? To answer this question one must consider many variables and look to God's word for direction. God's word is His will for our lives, not the letter of the law but the revelation given to us personally by Holy Spirit.

In the beginning scripture God's word says not to forget His benefits, it says He heals all of our diseases and He forgives all of our sins. That is like going to work for a company and receiving a benefit package. In other words you are entitled to the benefits freely given you in the specific plan that your company provides. The word of God provides healing for those eligible for His plan and under the conditions that He has laid down in His will.

God has given us His last will and testament to let us know what we have inherited and what rights we have in order to receive the benefit. If your uncle died you would have to read his will to find out what you have inherited and you would have to prove that you are related to him in order to receive what was left to you.

If you are a child of God then you are entitled to receive the promises in His word. The only way you can become His child is to repent of your sins and receive eternal life by faith in the blood of Jesus shed for you to have your sins forgiven and your sicknesses healed. Its not by works or baptism or joining the church but by giving your life to Christ totally in a personal relationship resulting in eternal life.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh- who are called uncircumcision by what is called circumcision made in the flesh by hands that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2: 8- 13

If your child was ill and came to you for healing and it was in your power to make him well, would you? Of course you would and so will God if you come and ask Him believing that He loves you and wants to make you well. One of the hindrances to receive healing is that people tend to believe that God really doesn't love them or they believe the lie that you have to be good enough to be healed.

And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored ( begged ) Him, saying, '' Lord if your willing, you can make me clean.''
Then He put out His hand and touched him saying,''I am willing; be cleansed.'' Immediately the leprosy left him.     Luke 5:12,13
